Being A Bridge Program
OUR Being A Bridge Program connects generous individuals with families in need. What began as a simple effort to improve food security has grown into a comprehensive support network that meets a wide range of needs—from Christmas toy drives and clean-water filtration to home-improvement projects, educational support, and more.
Rather than offering a one-time handout, the program focuses on building lasting bridges that strengthen families, reduce food insecurity, and empower communities. Travelers often have the chance to join Alex in this work, witnessing firsthand how a single act of generosity can transform lives.
OUR Bunkbed Program
A good night’s sleep can change everything. OUR Bunkbed Program provides safe, comfortable beds to children and families who have never had one of their own. Beyond furniture, these beds represent dignity, rest, and security—fundamentals that support learning, growth, and brighter futures. Participants in our trips often help deliver and set up beds, experiencing the joy of giving rest.
Elder Care Program
In many communities, elders carry the wisdom and traditions that shape cultural identity. Through OUR Eldercare Program, we ensure that older generations are supported, respected, and cared for. Visitors gain a unique opportunity to engage with Guatemala’s elders—listening, learning, and contributing to a cycle of intergenerational respect and care.
